Burrough Hill Dig
(August 01, 2010)Exciting times as Leicester University have launched a 5 year programme of discovery on this ancient Iron Age/Roman Hill Fort. Excavations will take place during the summers .. probably during June for the next 4 years.
Burrough Hill is a short walk away for the adventurous. There is a hill-top car park for the less agile.
Sunsets on the hill can be a magical sight from Moscow Farm. The 'Alpenglow' effect, lights up the hill in a pink/golden light. You have to be here to believe it.
