Countryside Stewardship Blocks
(December 11, 2009)Here is an example of a small corner of a field, difficult to cultivate, which is in the Countryside Stewardship Scheme. A wide variety of wildlife is encouraged in this area of the farm. An gnarled old willow tree provides habitat for insects and birds.
